WBA has an opening for a New Business Agent within our personal lines department. This position can be a hybrid role,

offering a couple days a week of remote work. The salary range is between $42K-$60K and would include commission on top of the base salary. In addition, WBA pays for 100% of the employee's medical insurance!

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Build and maintain relationships with clients from assigned book of business
• Support clients as needed with change requests, coverage questions, billing concerns, claims, and other service needs that may arise
• Maintain and update files via the agency’s internal client management tool
• Process and follow up on cancellation notifications or requests and ensure accurate and timely resolution
• Support clients with billing inquiries and process payments as needed
• Help client to file claims with carriers and provide support throughout the claim process as needed
• Process policy endorsements for customers as needed and follow up with the carrier to ensure completion
• Conduct personal lines rating to include new business quoting as well as remarketing existing customers
• Refer current and prospective clients to other departments within the agency for support or recommendations of coverage that is out of scope within the personal department
• Review accounts, identify coverage gaps and discuss increased limits and/or additional policy lines as needed with customers
• Stay up-to-date on carrier coverage and requirements
• Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions, tasks and service requests
• Maintain a professional, cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts
• Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency
