Job Summary:
The IT Manager provides exceptional customer-focus to the administration of IT Business Systems and Infrastructure. This includes supporting the implementation of corporate and local business systems as well as the IT infrastructure required to support them.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees, contractors, and others to ensure that Gestamp South Carolina's IT requirements are met.
- Facilitate a clear understanding of all business processes, goals and drivers to effectively support business systems, processes and training solutions in accordance with Gestamp's global IT guidelines and policies.
- Act as the primary liaison between the local operations team and corporate and divisional teams to support network, Active Directory, SAP and Captor MES systems to achieve team goals and initiatives.
- Provide local support to Gestamp for SAP, Captor and other corporate systems related issues, addressing at a local level or using independent judgment, escalating and following through to resolution.
- Manage the preventive and corrective maintenance of the infrastructure (including but not limited to Cisco network switches, SAN, Microsoft servers, WSUS, Microsoft clustering and Hyper-V virtualization environment).
- Assess risks and coordinate changes to system configuration.
- Confirm execution of daily processes according to policy (backups, reports, documentation, and other daily routines).
- Manage and support IT and business improvement projects.
- Identify, track and manage technology related issues using available service desk tools; consult with end users to ensure problem resolution.
- Ensure accuracy of information and data provided to end users;
- Create and maintain information security guidelines, policies and regulatory procedures.
- Initiate plans and programs to maintain information security awareness.
- Review the effectiveness of the information security management system implementation.
- As part of the North America IT group, establish, develop and grow business relationships that are critical to the success of IT.
- Modify/test IT systems (hardware/software) or applications using knowledge, skills, and abilities to implement and/or correct deficiencies while documenting the steps used to resolve an issue.
- Interact with other IT members in North America to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.
- Manage vendor relationships and track vendor performance for various projects. 19. Support the company's mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
- 5 years of IT experience
- Previous management experience required.
- Active directory, SAN, MS clustering, IIS, Microsoft SQL, cisco networking, hyper-v, network monitoring software, backup exec, SharePoint, server and PC hardware.
- SAP or similar world class ERP knowledge.
- Captor or similar MES knowledge.
- IoT data acquisition architecture knowledge is preferred.
- ISMS and cybersecurity knowledge
- Supervisory.

- Vendor relationship
- Understand and comply with all OSHA, safety, and PPE requirements.
