Required Skills:

·        1 year HMI Operations experience and 2 to 4 years manufacturing experience preferred.

·        Demonstrated initiative to lead others for improved performance.  3.0 or greater on last performance review

·        Demonstrated Job Knowledge: able to do all jobs in zone and adjacent zones within Takt Time and to Standardized Work

·        Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills; written and verbal

·        Develop and document a Standardized Work condition (3 standardized work forms, Work balance chart, able to do time observations)

·        Identify 7 forms of waste, hard work, and fluctuation.

·        Able to explain the 4 Philosophies of HMPS, True North, HMPS tools, and how all of these are related (pocket card).

·        Able to do and document kaizen (PDCA).

·        Able to demonstrate the ability to teach others, build effective relationships, flexible and able to both implement and manage change effectively.

·        Demonstrated willingness to help others, eager to learn, and Servant Leadership style.

Essential Functions:

·        Safety – practice safety first, lead stretches

·        Quality – quality criteria are being followed and checks are being done.

·        Quick response to problems

·        Problem identification and kaizen

·        Measurable improvement to goals

·        Housekeeping – encourage 5s.

·        Documentation – hour x hour, standardized work, Kaizen

·        Training – support of team members in standardized work and pull systems.

·        Daily communication with Work Team Leader and Team Members

·        Communicate/cooperate with all shift(s) and Facilitators.

·        Other responsibilities as assigned by WTL.

·        Encourage involvement of TMs in improvements.

Schedule:

·        Day Shift (5am-3:15pm)

·        Monday through Friday

·        10 Hour Shift

Supplemental Pay:

·        Paid Holidays

·        Overtime Paid at 40 Hours.
