Food Services Coordinator, Shuman HeartHouse

Community Human Services is a leading organization dedicated to providing essential homeless services, substance use disorder services, and mental health services to Monterey County residents. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Food Services Coordinator at the new Shuman HeartHouse Homeless Shelter for women and families with children located in Monterey. This role will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of meal service, purchasing high-quality food and kitchen supplies, planning and preparing nutritious meals, and maintaining standards of kitchen safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of two years of satisfactory work experience. Experience working with individuals in residential and social services programs are highly desirable.
