Pre-Lit Paralegal
Law office specializing in Personal Injury cases is currently seeking a candidate for an in office, full-time Pre-Litigation Paralegal position. Working knowledge of the claims process, preparation of demands and knowledge of personal injury law in Colorado are required. Ability to communicate clearly with clients, medical providers, and insurance reps needed. You will be working with attorneys to research case damages, compose and send demand letters and correspondence, and utilize existing files and other research resources to gather facts and retrieve information to develop cases.
Qualifications/Skills:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pre-litigation personal injury paralegal is required
· Excellent understanding of personal injury pre litigation legal procedures and terminology and well-versed in documentation and reporting
· Excellent People Skills: able to deal empathetically with clients who are injured and scared, while still maintaining professionalism. Must be aware of and sensitive to cultural differences
· Professional Writing Skills: able to draft professional letters
· Competent Computer Skills: able to learn new programs quickly and accurately
· Ability to speak and write in Spanish required
· Working knowledge of legal database software. Needles case management system use and knowledge a plus
Must be a current Denver area resident. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
