Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and workers' compensation law, with a solid understanding of tribal law regulations. This role requires excellent organizational and administrative skills, as well as proficiency in legal software such as iManage. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in preparing for trials, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures.

Duties

• Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and litigation efforts.
• Organize and maintain case files using iManage and other legal management software.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel while demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
• Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and other materials necessary for litigation.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents with the court.
• Assist in gathering evidence and preparing for depositions or hearings.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in personal injury law or workers' compensation law.
• Familiarity with tribal law regulations is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent administrative skills to support daily operations within the legal team.
• Proficient in using iManage or similar document management systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work produced.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
