Medical Scheduler- Warren, Michigan - Full-Time

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Assist the physicians in scheduling appointments for patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide information to patients prior to scheduled appointment date.
• Responsible for authorizations and insurance verifications.
• Process patient FMLA paperwork and medical records.
• Assists in answering and placing phone calls for the clinic practice.
• Knowledge of EPIC/Beaumont EMR is required.
• Cover the front desk receptionist as needed.

· Excellent customer service skills

· Detailed Oriented

· Candidates must be able to work with high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

· Computer skills required – EMR and Microsoft Office.

Education and/or Experience:

· Associate Degree preferred in Medical Administration. (Will accept job experience in lieu of Associate Degree.)

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
