Meeting/Event Assistant plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Assistant researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Assistant conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Establishes relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. May assist more senior event planners in planning larger or more complex events. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Assistant work is closely managed. Bowen Chiropractic and Wellness Center seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Back Office Medical Assistant/Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The applicant must be an upbeat, energetic, joyful, and detailed person to join our awesome team. You must love working with people and hard work! We love helping people feel better. Work with an amazing team of people who work well and care for each other. We are fast-paced all day and love it. Some requirements include being on your feet for 8-10 hours, applying therapy modalities to patients, medical EHR input, scribing, and some front-office duties. This is a certified position, we will train and certify the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients with your infectious positivity and enthusiasm.
- Applying therapy modality treatments to the patient's (we will train).
- Record keeping in EHR system and scribing notes.
- Filing of patient records and charts.
- Patient recalls for no-show appointments, in-active patients and care authorizations.
- Keeping a clean department/ treatment rooms organized.
- Handle occasional phone calls, emails and texts with grace and efficiency.
- Problem solving and creativity.
- Must be able to move quickly and multitask the entire shift.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in communication.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
