The National Accounts Manager typically work with national accounts and other strategically important clients. Develops relationships with the largest and most complex clients in order to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and seeks business expansion opportunities with current clients. In addition, National Accounts Manager visits client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Being a National Accounts Manager works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms.     Key Responsibilities

    • Proactively identify and target potential market segments and companies that can benefit from our comprehensive logistics services.
    • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to solution design, negotiation, and closing of new business deals.
    • Conduct in-depth assessments of prospective customers' logistics needs, aligning them with corporate strategies.
    • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tailored solutions that provide clear value to our clients.
    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with middle and senior management within client organizations, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
    • Present detailed proposals and effectively communicate the unique benefits of our services.
    • Forge solid partnerships with internal teams such as IT, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to ensure customer success.
    • Represent our organization at industry events and actively contribute to the development and achievement of our long-term strategic goals.
    • Expand business opportunities through cross-selling initiatives.
    • Influence the annual budget planning process with insightful input.

    Qualifications

    **Education & Experience:**

    • High school diploma is required, college degree preferred.
    • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Logistics, Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly valued.
    • At least 7 years of proven sales experience in Transportation/Logistics.
    • Deep understanding of the North American transportation industry, including Truckload and Intermodal.

    Technical & Business Skills

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM.
    • Exceptional customer service ethos.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong organizational capabilities with an aptitude for multitasking.
    • Must demonstrate effective negotiation and deal-closing skills.
    • A forward-thinking, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
    • A valid driver's license in good standing and the ability to travel as needed.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • A dynamic office environment with a moderate noise level.
    • Frequent travel to customer sites is expected.
    • General physical activities include walking, sitting, and using hands for computer interaction.
