Position: Full-Time School Paraprofessional
Location: Northeastern Colorado BOCES
Start Date: Fall 2024

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher
• Supervise students during class, lunch, recess, and other activities
• Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and development
• Perform clerical duties as needed, such as grading, organizing materials, and maintaining records

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or higher preferred)
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with a team
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students
