Nutrition Director jobs in Orem, UT

AHC of Utah Valley is seeking a Nutrition Service Director oversees dietary department

staffing, training, food production, budgeting & all aspects of fine dining. The Nutrition

Services Director works with the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

The ideal candidate will hold a manager level food certification, is a graduate in culinary arts,

a certified dietary manager (CDM) or eligible to obtain the state equivalent. The ideal

candidate will have in-depth knowledge of nutrition care, culinary techniques and

Job duties:

• Understand and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Purchase food according to approved, seasonal menus
• Budget and account for all food and supply costs
• Implement dietary and food service policies and procedures in compliance with
• federal, state and local requirements.
• Staff, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate the performance of all dietary
• employees
• Represent the dietary department in coordination with nursing, therapy and
• administrative staff
• Supervise preparation of menus to meet residents’ dietary needs in accordance with
• physician prescribed diets
• Implement the nutrition care plans for clients under the direction of the Registered
• Dietitian Nutritionist
• Supervise the entire operation of the dietary department

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
