About the Role
Packsize is looking for an experienced Paralegal to support a small but growing Legal department in our industrial technology-focused business. This position will provide general paralegal services in respect of our IP portfolio, commercial transactions, corporate records and compliance program. You will work with our IP team and external counsel to coordinate and prepare intellectual property filings. You will help organize and execute corporate maintenance activities for our subsidiaries, including maintaining corporate minute books and making annual required filings in relevant jurisdictions. You will assist with contract drafting, execution and tracking, and will undertake the review and revision of common contracts such as non-disclosure agreements. You will support the activity of the Companys Compliance Committee. You will report to the General Counsel, support the Commercial Counsel and be an important member of our in-house legal team.
What Youll Do
Corporate Maintenance:
Maintain accurate and up to date records for our corporate entities in the US and across the globe.
Prepare and file annual reports, renewals, and other required filings in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Intellectual Property Support:
Assist with the maintenance and management of the Companys IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks and copyrights.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, external counsel, and regulatory authorities regarding IP filings.
Conduct research on IP matters and provide information to support decision-making.
Assist in preparing responses to inquiries related to IP matters.
Legal Drafting, Research and Administration:
Draft and prepare legal documentation
Conduct legal research and summarize results
Organize department records to ensure effective recordkeeping and administration
Assist with design and implementation of contract management processes
Compliance Program
Support the Compliance Committee with recordkeeping and project management tasks
Assist with the development and preparation of compliance-related presentations
Liaise with the Companys learning and development team to track compliance-related training
What Youll Bring
Paralegal certificate or degree.
Minimum eight (8) years of law firm and/or in-house experience.
Previous experience with intellectual property support.
Previous experience with corporate maintenance and annual corporate filings.
Previous experience with legal operations and project management.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to interact comfortably with senior management
Experience with contract management processes
Experience with corporate compliance programs
Team-oriented, and comfortable working with a global legal team

What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
