The Georgia Department of Community Health, Financial Management Division, is looking for a skilled Category Manager for the Procurement Unit. The successful candidate will lead a specialized category in Strategic Sourcing, creating and implementing procurement strategies aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction while reducing costs for complex categories. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, overseeing the performance of the procurement division or category, and managing vendor relationships. The Category Manager may oversee multiple categories and will direct subordinate supervisors and staff.
This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of your supervisor. Your days of frequency in the office can change at any time during your employment based on the business needs of the organization.
