    Summary:

    Coordinates pre-and post-surgical patient education, assessments, procedures, nursing care, and follow-up for program appropriate patient population.

    Responsibilities:

    Coordinates and/or participates on a multi-disciplinary committee for the purpose of case reviews and current treatment protocols.

    Organizes and conducts support groups for patients and their families.

    Develops and disseminates program-specific educational materials and programs for employee, staff and community.

    Coordinates pre-surgical assessment and care, including insurance authorizations, testing and education/instructions.
