POSITION TITLE: Event Rental Sales Specialist

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales and Marketing.

JOB TYPE: Full-time, exempt with commissions.

SUPERVISES: N/A

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*The execution of the day to day operations in the Sales Territory to ensure efficiency and productivity. *Work effectively with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Department Heads to improve the functioning of the Sales Department. *Assist the Sales Director in creating and implementing strategic plans in order to achieve operational objectives. *Follow and enforce safety standards, protocols, and procedure in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements. *Travel within sales territory to meet prospects, vendors, and clients. *Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with prospects, vendors, and clients daily. *Reach out to client leads through warm and cold calling. *Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat clients. *Educate clients on how products and services can benefit them for their event or need. *Sell the company’s products and services to clients. *Monitor industry competitors, new products, market conditions, and trends to understand clients specific needs. *Build quotes and contracts. *Follow up on quotes and modify as necessary. *Expedite the resolution of client problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. *Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals. *Provide periodic territory sales forecasts. *The ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in the high season. *Visit project locations and events to ensure quality customer service. *Other duties as assigned.

PERCENTAGE OF TIME:

*50% In person, in the office. *50% remote.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Must be at least 18 years old. *Must have a valid drivers license. *Sales Assistant or sales experience preferred. *Event rental or Event Coordinator experience preferred. *Proficient in negotiations, presenting, and listening skills. *Proficient in communicating. *Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services. *Proven ability to position products against competitors. *Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close *Must be able to participate in company safety and training programs and department meetings. *Must maintain a professional personal appearance. *Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus. *Must maintain an acceptable attendance record. *Must be able to provide, understand, and complete instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form. *Must be efficient and have the ability to adapt to different types of computer software.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
