Do you love Jesus and love people? Apply for an amazing “job” that gives you ministry training and hands-on experience as “urban missionaries” in a student-focused residential setting–a 2-year ministry experience without the fund-raising that often accompanies other short-or-long-term missions! Resident Life wants to help you grow spiritually and exercise your faith while preparing you for your next ministry adventure–and a lifetime of pointing people to Jesus!
Resident Life Coordinators (RLCs) are hired to engage the residents of an apartment complex (where they live--in a free/provided apartment!) through hosting fun events, building friendships, and caring for their community. Great candidates love God, want others to know Him through a relationship with Jesus, gravitate toward people, enjoy serving, “lean into” deeper conversations, work independently, value good communication, can wear an events-planner/party hat, and have a desire to grow in their own relationship with the Lord.
RLCs serve in teams of two in cities around the country (KS, OK, MN, CO, CA) for a 2-year “ministry intensive” and receive compensation of $25,000 salary free apartment/utilities where they serve (approx $1000/month or $12,000/year in Stillwater), training in various areas of ministry to equip them for sharing their faith with residents, assistance with event-planning, and both an events and personal ministry budget to use each month. An incredible opportunity to serve and grow through a missional living experience!
One opening available to join one teammate already in Stillwater. Singles and marrieds welcome to apply! (Studio apartment provided for singles or 1-bedroom apartment for a married couple; spouse of married candidate would not be employed by Res Life.)
