Lead Recruiter

    • Specific details about the duties and responsibilities Oversees the execution of all activities by recruiting coordinator.
    • Responsible for the daily oversight of recruitment and staffing functions while personally participating actively in the recruitment process.
    • Oversees the business’s overall recruiting and sourcing mission, vision and long-term strategy. Assist with planning job fairs and recruitment activities.
    • Lead recruitment activities for recruitment, interviewing, and screening of candidates to ensure quality and timely recruitment of new hires.
    • Work closely with business leaders to influence and provide guidance on effective recruiting approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality and compliance.
    • Provide training and coaching to hiring managers and recruiting staff.
    • Partner with hiring managers to identify competency questions for interview consistency and quality.
    • Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and candidate “must haves” and communicate with HR to draft job descriptions.
    • Market open positions via the company’s careers page and 3rd party job boards.
    • Source candidates utilizing social media, resume databases, Boolean searches, industry contacts, professional networks, etc.
    • Engage with active and passive talent and connect them to current job opportunities.
    • Prescreen candidates via phone, video, and/or in-person interviews.
    • Evaluate applicants and submit top candidates for hiring manager review.
    • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
    • Anticipate future talent needs and work to develop pools of passive candidates to fill vacancies.
    • Manage candidate expectations and engage talent throughout the hiring process.
    • Collaborate with human resources and business leaders to design the company’s hiring process, from application to hire.
    • Communicate regularly with candidates.
    • Perform research to evaluate the general needs and opinions of talent.
    • Partner with business leaders to develop talent acquisition practices, processes and systems.
    • Track and report on talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, cost per hire, etc.
    • Work to ensure diverse, inclusive, equitable and compliant hiring practices.
    • Oversee the completion of various talent acquisition projects and initiatives.
    • Tools, Software, or Programming MS Office, UKG, Department Talent Acquisition

    Experience

    Required
    • 5 year(s): •Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline. • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs. •Hands on experience with various selection processes, phone interviews and reference checks •Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral) •Specific skills: Computer/Microsoft Office, Internet Skills, Marketing •Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems

    Education

    Required
    • Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field
