Tierra Right of Way Services is hiring for a Right of Way Technician in our Albuquerque office. Are you interested in learning more about real estate? This position may be for you! We will train you in the right of way industry and help you get your real estate license in order to become a Right of Way Agent.
The Right of Way Technician will assist and complete assignments which include the facilitation of land acquisitions, negotiations, property research, titles, surveys and relocation assistance under the Uniform Act.
Essential Functions and General Responsibilities:

Aids in preparing, reviewing and interpreting Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, licenses and reports.

Assists in research and collection of real property related documents and producing summary reports of encumbrances.

Aids with negotiating easements, licenses and fee interest purchases from landowners.
- Supports with the translation and input of data from Right of Way documents into various internal and client management databases.

Assists in quality assurance reviews of internal and client management databases entries from Right of Way agents.

Assists and/or completes the preparation of permit applications for the project team.

Helps with the preparation of project status, technical, and acquisition reports for the project team.

Provides administrative support to Right of Way team members including on document preparation and control, meeting agendas and other project related activities.

Ensures compliance with company and site safety policies.

Assists in conducting surveys of households, businesses and other organizations and develops summary reports of survey details.

Assists with gathering and documenting information necessary to support various claims for Relocation Assistance; tracks relocation expenditures per displacee.

Physical requirements include the ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like. The technician operates a computer and other office machinery (fax, 10-key, copier) and transports/installs/removes objects or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Travel:
This position may require occasional local and occasional overnight travel.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
One (1) year administrative support
- Knowledge of utilizing MS Word, Excel, and Outlook applications

Valid driver’s license
