Description and Requirements for our Lead Investment Operations Analyst

The Lead Investment Operations Analyst can expect to focus in the following areas:

In this role, you will collaborate with your manager to effectively organize and prioritize the department's workload. You will oversee the timely distribution of comprehensive client reports during the quarterly performance process. Because you will be the primary point of contact and guide for advisor and client services representative inquires, communication skills both written and verbally will be a must. You will leverage your industry skills and knowledge to maximize the capabilities of the portfolio management system. Additionally, you will establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners and vendors. As a lead, you will offer support, guidance, and training to foster the professional growth of your teammates. You will be continuously evaluating existing systems and processes, which will help lead to implementation of process improvement projects. You will work with your team and contribute to departmental projects, including migrations and integrations. By fostering a collaborative environment, you will assist and fill in for team members as needed, ensuring accurate data uploads, and creating new report templates. Because you’re a team player, you’ll be ready to jump in and help to perform other duties as needed to accomplish the overall goals of the department.

A couple things to note about our Lead Investment Operations Analyst:

• 
  This position has the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule out of our Rockford, IL headquarters, Chicagoland offices, or our Madison, WI locations.
• This role may require the flexibility to travel to other offices when full team meetings are taking place.
• This is a full-time position, with a minimum expected hour amount of 40 hours per week.

The Lead Investment Operations Analyst typically requires the following qualifications:

• 
  To be successful in this position, you will need a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• You should have 5 years of proven employment success in a similar role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must and investment and reporting software experience such as Tamarac is highly preferred.
• Additionally, strong analytical and financial skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
• You must be client-oriented, a team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others.
