Position Summary
The Recruiter reports to the Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist and is a hybrid position (1-2x in office/week).
This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end recruiting cycle for some of our manufacturing facilities.
Note: We are looking for someone located near the Hendersonville, NC area (close to our NC facility) or someone located near the Seabrook, NJ area (close to our NJ facility).
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms, and other sourcing methods.
- Build a strong relationship with hiring managers to understand the roles that are being recruited for
- Complete weekly and monthly staffing metrics
- Coordinate with a staffing agency on temporary roles and temp-to-perm positions
- Develop job advertisements and screen resumes/applications.
- Contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedule interviews.
- Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Initiates onboarding plan for new hires.
- Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in the facilitation of orientation for new employees and perform exit interviews for employees leaving the organization.
- Assist with other HR duties when needed
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Education And Experience
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business or 3 years of commensurate experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented and can multi-task
- Excellent time management skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the food/beverage industry (if necessary)
- Experience in Manufacturing or production environment
- Experience in report writing
- Ability to direct, coach, and train others.
- Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.
FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.
OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.
VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.
HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
