Our position will provide technical support for software systems to our customer base via telephone and remote access technology. Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal support or supervision within an organizational structure.

Organization Description:
We provide software and system solutions for accounts receivable departments within hundreds of corporations, that control the workflow, accounting, telecommunications and more.

Skill set should include:

• Excellent PC skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical documentation to resolve issues
• Working knowledge of MS office
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 or higher)
• Helpful, but not required: skills in SQL scripting, Windows administration, Linux Administration, Asterisk experience

Interpersonal:

• Have a strong customer service background
• Be able to communicate effectively with non-technical people
• Confidence to present technical material
• Ability to work with a mix of personalities
• Skills and/or experience in deescalating disgruntled customers

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide customers with correct software information when answering questions or forwarding information
• Document and track issues and resolutions in a support ticketing system.
• Work on and resolve investigations in between other incoming calls from customers
• Provide excellent customer service with tact and diplomacy over the phone, via email, and using remote support applications.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Effectively manage multiple cases with differing priorities.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of existing and older product offerings in order to support customer environments and configurations.
• Other duties may be assigned based on company needs, and the candidate's strengths and experience.
• Duties may include, but not limited to, creating end user documentation; providing end user staff training; remote system installation and configuration; remote upgrades; and SQL scripting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
