AvantGuard Monitoring Centers is one of the largest and fastest growing monitoring companies in the nation. We monitor alarms (security, fire, medical, environmental) for 1.2 million people nationwide, and since we are growing fast, we are looking to add a talented part-time recruiter to our innovative HR team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, creative, and an excellent multi-tasker to take on the areas of sourcing/recruiting and onboarding new team members.

What You’ll Do
You will own the recruiting process at Avantguard for roles that are assigned to you while assisting the recruiting team. You will recruit and source top talent that represents our core values that include: Caring, Fun, Innovation, Relationships, Service, Trust and Teamwork.
- Run the recruiting cycle for the operations team which includes Alarm dispatch team operators
- Help maintain campus recruiting through career fairs and table events
- Build relationships with team members to help source referrals
- Evaluate resumes and candidates utilizing interactive phone screens
- Schedule and interview candidates face to face through a multi-level interview process
- Maintain records or phone screens, schedules, interviews etc. of potential candidates
- Handle the ATS system and make sure all candidates are updated
- Report metrics to the HR leadership team
- Suggest and implement on-going improvements to the recruiting process
- Assist in office administration related to Human Resources activities as needed
- Plan events to build rapport and uphold our company culture!
Preferred Skills
- Passion and willingness to learn and grow in the recruiting and HR functions
- Ability to adapt & work in a fast-paced environment
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 1 year of recruiting or HR experience preferred
- Experience with an ATS System preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent skills in observation and understanding people's values, attitudes and behavior
- Ability to work under pressure and work in a fast-changing environment
- Must live in the Rexburg area
