Meetings: The Veterans Commission meets on the 2n? Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM in
the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
SUMMARY
The Lowell Veterans Commission is comprised of up to eleven (11) members to be appointed by the
City Manager. Members of the Veteran’s Commission will promote the local needs of veteran,
coordinating veteran activities through the City, and assisting the City of Lowell’s Veteran
Services Department in providing assistance to veterans. Members must be a veteran as defined by 38
U.S. Code §101 and be a resident of the City.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

well-being of veterans and their families.
