ResponsibilitiesThe Manager, Regional Talent Acquisition will manage the talent acquisition team, supporting the attraction and hiring of high-quality talent who can fulfill the mission, vision, and business objectives of UnityPoint Health. In addition, this role will lead (and participate in) cross-functional projects and priorities, develop innovative solutions to drive efficiency in HR, and lead the effective use of HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making.
Our Team is comprised of 7 leaders with teams that support a blend of geographic markets and/or service lines. This new role will support our Onboarding team, Executive Recruitment function and our Corporate Services functions. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of project management and successful leadership of process improvement initiatives.
Special preference is being given to current UnityPoint Health employees. Non-UPH individuals will be considered if an incumbent is not found within the organization. This role can be remote with strong preference for an individual who resides within our geographic footprint of Iowa, Illinois, or Wisconsin.
QualificationsEducation:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (6 years of talent acquisition experience)
Experience:
- 4 years talent acquisition experience required
- Demonstrated track record of success using innovative talent acquisition strategies required.
- 4 years of prior leadership experience preferred
- Prior healthcare experience preferred
- Experience working in a large organization with multiple entities preferred
- Workforce planning experience preferred
- Experience with iCIMS ATS and Lawson ERP software preferred.
Knowledge/skills/abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing, selection and talent acquisition including strategies and programs.
- Knowledge of Internet recruitment vehicles, proficiency with databases, excellent computer skills, candidate assessment tools and metrics
- Proven track record of providing creative solutions to complex challenges
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Social Media Knowledge Preferred
