Tax Supervisor is responsible for supervising the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function. Supervises the completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of an organization. Being a Tax Supervisor must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Tax Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Tax Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Tax Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the EVREDCO Fuel Venture General Manager, the Supervisor will oversee operations and employees during their scheduled shifts. This position will be key in ensuring the staff meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have retail skills and familiarity with the operations of a Fuel Mart. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are a must. Interpersonal and mediation skills will be critical as this position will serve as liaison between employees and customers.

Responsibilities include interviewing, recommend for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
