    GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

    Our Ticket Writers deliver an outstanding guest service which exceeds our guest expectations and actively promotes the Muckleshoot Casino Resort. They are experts in our innovative range of betting offers and they actively communicate these to our guests. They are aware of and contribute to Sportsbook action plans and take pride in knowing who our guests are and how our processes work.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
    • Writes tickets and processes cash winning tickets.
    • Aware of popular lines and odds in the Sportsbook.
    • Effectively and consistently communicates sports betting rules.
    • Ensues all information is accurately entered into the till and process any voided wagers.
    • Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
    • Committed to always working in a compliant environment in the Sportsbook and adhere to Tribal Gaming Commission reporting requirements.
    • Calls for MTL support when writing bets requiring MTL paperwork.
    • Loading paper in Sports Betting Kiosks when needed.
    • Ensure Sports Book area is clean, and that the equipment is in proper working condition daily.
    • Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • One (1) year of experience as a Sportsbook Writer preferred.
    • Tribal gaming experience a plus.

    HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL

    • Ability to promote products and services confidently and maintain high standards of professionalism.
    • Ability to perform different tasks and follow procedures correctly, independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Read, write and speak English fluently.
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a high volume and stressful environment.

        WHAT TO EXPECT

        • Availability – Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
        • Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
        • Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
