KC Transportation, a division of KC Logistics, Inc. is looking to fill our 2nd shift (4:00pm - 12:30am) dispatch position at our Madison, AL location. Along with our great hourly rate, the person on this shift will also be paid a shift premium. Job description

Primarily responsible for supervising drivers, pick-up and delivery of customer loads.

o JIT dispatch

o Oversee drivers daily routing

o Create, maintain and monitor loads

o Communicate updates of loads to customers and management

o Update customer websites of load ETA’s

o Update and complete loads in McLeod

o Create and distribute daily shift reports to Operations and Management

o Driver Liaison

o Provide route instructions to drivers

o Navigate mail bags to appropriate destinations

Minimum Qualifications

o Recent 3 years transportation dispatch experience

o Valid Driver’s License

o Proficient in Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of McLeod software preferred but not required.o Proficient with CSA and Hours of Service

o DOT rules and regulations

o Leadership ability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.24 - $22.48 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
