Treasury Analyst jobs in Lafayette, LA

This position is responsible for the development of new cash management business, the expansion of existing business relationships and the servicing of existing customers. This employee works closely with the Commercial Lending Team in making business development calls on new prospects, and also focuses on generating new sales from current and existing customers by offering cash management products and services. This position develops new Treasury Management products and services that consistently deliver high quality and responsive service to customers and prospects. 

1. Business Development - Identifies prospective customers in targeted markets by:

• Cold Calling
• Soliciting referrals from existing customers
• Develops new relationships with potential long-term customers or prospects.
• Conducts sales presentations, explains services offered and recommends services which could be of value to the customer.

     2. Relationship Management

• Provides Customers with the latest information about new and existing bank products and services available and cross-selling these services. 
• Ensuring that operational needs of customers are attended to expeditiously.
• Meets periodically with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.

     3. Cross-selling

• Identifies opportunities for cross-selling other bank products and services as appropriate.

     4. Internal Relationship Management

• Ensures that bank officers are aware of the bank’s cash management products/services and sales activity.
• Works in conjunction with Commercial Bankers and branch staff to promote the bank’s cash management products/services. 

    5. Training & Development

• Provides training and support to all staff.

    6. Develops new treasury management products. 

1. Conducts site visits annually for remote deposit capture customers.
2. Maintain a high level of company and customer confidentiality.
3. Adherence to and support of all compliance and BSA/AML rules and regulations related to this job function. 
4. Performs other duties that may be assigned by Management.

1. Bachelors’ degree preferred.
2. Five years banking experience.
3. One year cash management experience in a bank.

1. Fully trained in Microsoft programs Excel, Word and Outlook.
2. Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, marketing, business development and sales skills.
3. Knowledge of Bank’s products and services.
4. Knowledge of banking laws.

Work schedule will vary depending upon location, but will consist of an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:45 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Schedule may require representing the company after hours at related functions, customer calls or training. Regular attendance is required.
