The Business Analysis/Technical Solutions Manager utilizes consultative methodologies to research and analyze complex issues surrounding an organization's systems. Manages technology consulting projects and operations focused on improving and enhancing client business processes. Being a Business Analysis/Technical Solutions Manager identifies technical infrastructure solutions for improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the organization's business systems. Guides the client in an assessment process to define the organization's needs and explore and evaluate solution options that meet business requirements. In addition, Business Analysis/Technical Solutions Manager trains and manages service teams with consulting skills and technological expertise to staff projects and provide project support. Monitors project timelines, resources, expenses, and outcomes to ensure successful results. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Business Analysis/Technical Solutions Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Business Analysis/Technical Solutions Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
