The Finance Director - Budgets designs and develops budgetary principles and guidelines to optimize the budget and leads the work of budget department. Manages and controls an organization's budget, overseeing all budgeting activities. Being a Finance Director - Budgets requires a bachelor's degree. Analyzes the variation between actual and estimated budget and produces reports for the Board of Directors to make decisions. In addition, Finance Director - Budgets typically reports to a head of a unit/department or top management. The Finance Director - Budgets manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Working as a Finance Director - Budgets typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
