The Grants and Proposals Specialist supports donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors and corporate or governmental partnerships. Coordinates operations to execute an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, and capital development initiatives supporting short- and long-term organizational revenue objectives. Being a Grants and Proposals Specialist uses a donor database and software tools to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Plans events and develops communications to increase donor engagement. In addition, Grants and Proposals Specialist may participate in the grant writing and proposal process. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Grants and Proposals Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
