The Healthcare Quality Improvement Programs Coordinator (RN) monitors and provides assistance with quality assurance and compliance functions. Plans, coordinates, and implements the quality management and quality improvement programs for a healthcare facility. Being a Healthcare Quality Improvement Programs Coordinator (RN) ensures policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes. Provides consultation and direction to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care. In addition, Healthcare Quality Improvement Programs Coordinator (RN) requires an associate's degree, and is certified as a registered nurse. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working as a Healthcare Quality Improvement Programs Coordinator (RN) typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.
