The New Business Director - Annuities reviews applications and contracts and ensures that all transactions comply with state and federal regulations. Directs the development of new accounts and business relationships through sales, marketing, and referrals. Being a New Business Director - Annuities is responsible for staffing and training of unit and ensures staff has full knowledge of all current regulations and provides prompt and efficient service to customers. Stays abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which affect the activities of the business. In addition, New Business Director - Annuities requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The New Business Director - Annuities manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
