The Replenishment Buyer I analyzes historical sales, pricing, demand data, market trends, and other statistical metrics to prepare inventory requirement forecasts. Develops inventory replenishment models and forecasts to make purchasing decisions to ensure optimal inventory and stock levels meet customer demand. Being a Replenishment Buyer I continuously monitors sales, inventory, and buying trends and adjusts stock levels to meet demand. Creates a buying plan and recommends order qualities and pricing to guide inventory replenishment and new purchasing. In addition, Replenishment Buyer I maintains data and analytics to refine forecasts, generate reporting and improve replenishment processes. Works with vendors and buyers to facilitate ordering, pricing, and inventory deliveries. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Replenishment Buyer I occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
