The Worker's Comp Program Coordinator is responsible for claims monitoring and administration, report generation, and communication with employees, managers, insurance carriers, medical staff, and lawyers. Assists in the administration of the workers' compensation program. Being a Worker's Comp Program Coordinator may report data to OSHA. Determines the need of inside or outside workers' compensation program or policy. In addition, Worker's Comp Program Coordinator may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to manager. Being a Worker's Comp Program Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
