Being a Computer Forensics Analyst III collects, preserves, and analyzes digital evidence. Recovers emails, databases, and other potentially lost or compromised data. Additionally, Computer Forensics Analyst III documents and reports on findings, and recommends next steps. Evaluates the organization's digital forensic tools and procedures and recommends and implements potentially valuable changes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Computer Forensics Analyst III work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
