Job Description for Data Center Senior Manager

Data Center Senior Manager manages data center operations to ensure the performance, availability, and security of an organization's data. Implements procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Senior Manager manages environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Provides timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Senior Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Center Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Data Center Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
