Data Center Technician III installs, maintains, and repairs the hardware and physical infrastructure of a data center facility to ensure the performance, availability, and security of data. Follows established procedures to troubleshoot, repair, or upgrade servers, storage systems, and other data center equipment. Being a Data Center Technician III documents and maintains comprehensive records of environmental conditions to track and ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Data Center Technician III typically reports to a supervisor. The Data Center Technician III independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.
