Job Description for In-Store Branch Manager

In-Store Branch Manager manages a banking branch office located in a retail store. Oversees daily branch opening, closing, customer service, transaction processing, and reconciliation tasks and activities. Being an In-Store Branch Manager schedules, manages, and trains branch staff to maintain the required service coverage. Follows all company policies and procedures to maintain required security, operational, and service quality standards. Additionally, In-Store Branch Manager resolves escalated customer or operations issues. Coordinates with other bank teams to promote products or provide additional services to customers. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The In-Store Branch Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an In-Store Branch Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
