IT Configuration Analyst V administers and executes the IT configuration management process. Responsible for the overall administration, configuration, maintenance, design, and improvement of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Being an IT Configuration Analyst V conducts configuration auditing in areas such as software version control, integration construction, and release management. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, IT Configuration Analyst V typically reports to a manager. The IT Configuration Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
