Maintenance Planning Manager Salary in Texas

Maintenance Planning Manager manages and designs plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Ensures an effective system for processing and tracking work orders is in place. Being a Maintenance Planning Manager oversees inspection and survey procedures to create an effective preventative maintenance system. Communicates with technicians, engineers, operations, and other managers to ensure stakeholders are satisfied with maintenance planning. Additionally, Maintenance Planning Manager creates planning and scheduling procedures to establish the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Also responsible for oversight of spare parts management, budget monitoring, and reporting. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a director or head of unit/department.
