Physical Therapy Attendant assist in preparation of patients for treatment under the direction of physical therapist. May be responsible for operation and maintenance of equipment. Being a Physical Therapy Attendant prepares and sanitizes treatment room for the patients. Helps maintain the medical records of the client and perform various clerical duties. Additionally, Physical Therapy Attendant greets the patients and schedules appointments. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Physical Therapy Attendant may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
