Job Description for Production Operations Coordinator I

Production Operations Coordinator I provides support for managing production operations to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Monitors and analyzes shift production metrics to identify issues, troubleshoot, develop and implement solutions and process improvements. Being a Production Operations Coordinator I coordinates materials and resources for daily operations and maintenance, turnaround, and downtime projects. Performs audits and inspections to ensure that SOP's GMP's and OSHA regulations are understood and followed. Additionally, Production Operations Coordinator I liaises with product, engineering, and other functional teams. May coordinate or manage production, staffing, and training schedules. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Operations Coordinator I work is closely managed.
