Signal & Image Processing Engineer III designs, develops, and tests mathematical algorithms used to analyze and process signal and imagery data. Applies signal and image processing principles and mathematical methods to develop image capture systems. Being a Signal & Image Processing Engineer III develops the concepts, requirements, architecture, prototypes, algorithms, and models for systems. Performs extensive testing and validation of designs using simulation and modeling software and tools. Additionally, Signal & Image Processing Engineer III conducts research and studies to create innovative approaches for solutions and products. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Signal & Image Processing Engineer III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
