We take measures to ensure our team members have access to the recommended precautions and enforce our safety focus areas of healthy teams, physical distance, safety equipment, and training.
Job Summary
The Business Manager: must be open to both working in the field with our Field Teams, as well as excel in managing their office work. This is imperative to achieve the success of the role.
COMPENSATION: $55,000.00 Base + $10,000.00 Performance based bonus + 2 weeks paid vacation.
LOCATION: Frederick and Hyattsville,  DC.
DAYS/HOURS: 40-45 hours per week (Flexibility needed for some weekend coverage as needed.

The Business Manager will be directly responsible for (but not limited to) the following goals, plans, and key initiatives:

• Assist  The Management team to exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly revenue targets
• Assist  The Management team to oversee training for new field team members
• Provide positive mentorship and leadership to our field team members
• Work in-field, performing Field Team tasks, as needed
• Supervise and assist in the daily fulfillment of scheduled jobs to ensure on-time service
• Assist in preparation of employee work schedules
• Provide input to The Management team to build and implement new systems and processes
• Assist as needed with truck fleet maintenance; including inspections completed, a regular maintenance schedule is met, and repairs are performed

• Ensure compliance with all franchise health and safety requirements (including COVID-19 related measures for our staff and customers’ sake)
• Continuously drive and develop a positive culture among the field staff
   

The perfect candidate has:

• Business degree (preferred), or other related field combined with the required experience
• 3+ years of experience in managerial role with a strong operational component
• Team management experience for hourly employee population and its performance
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement
• Flexible with work schedule depending on the time of year and staffing levels
• A natural leader with a positive “Let’s Get it Done” attitude

• Ability to lead by example in the field performing service to our customers
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• A strong desire and ability to motivate others to excel and hit goals
• A valid and clean driver's license, with a reliable vehicle for local errands, if needed
• G-Suite, Google Drive (docs & sheets) experience
