This is a unique opportunity to play a key role on a dynamic brand marketing team, passionate about driving growth for emerging verticals. If you have an innate entrepreneurial spirit, are e-commerce minded and have a desire to launch and maintain brands of varying maturities - from startups to national brands. You, as the Brand Strategist, will be responsible for new product development, annual marketing plans, go-to-market strategies, creative development and performance against given KPIs. Simply put, developing and implementing strategic plans to drive awareness and profitability of the brand will be what drives you.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A passionate marketer and creative thinker with the desire to develop digitally native or direct-to-consumer brands
  • Naturally curious and are the first at uncovering interesting case studies, trends and strategies deployed by disruptor brands.
  • Ability to lead, direct and support cross-functional stakeholders and outside partners
  • A natural interest in identifying consumer needs and developing plans to reach target audience. You understand what it takes to identify, engage and retain new audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial minded - ready to jump into a fast-paced, rapidly evolving marketing space
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex sources of data to build recommendations
  • Experience building compelling online experiences to drive consumer engagement and conversion
  • Will have at least 1 direct report and are eager to play a mentorship role to grow talent

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

  • The ability to understand modern brand building and direct-to-consumer marketing
  • Thoughtful risk-taker with demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions, assess results and optimize as needed
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year college) in marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with marketing/branding, strategic development and creative problem solving
