The Assembler constructs multiple assemblies and sub-assemblies. Utilizes automated equipment and basic computer hardware and software to accomplish work. Uses testers, fixtures, self-inspection and troubleshooting methods and techniques.  

Main responsibilities include:  

• Assembles, repairs, inspect and/or test products following written instructions.
• Gathers and interprets information.  May utilize other analytical techniques to identity and solve problems.
• Reads and interprets documents associated with the completion of assembly assignments.  Utilizes knowledge of basic math, drawings.
• May setup and operates a variety of machines following written instructions.
• Resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
• Performs routine and non-routine moderately complex assignments using standard methods and sequences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
• 2-year degree preferred.
• 2-6 years of related work experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in GMP, ISO, and FDA controlled environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of lean/Six Sigma problem solving tools a plus.
