ABELCINE Check-in Agent Salary in the United States

AbelCine is a leading Digital Cinema and HD camera equipment supplier to the motion picture and broadcast industries. We offer sales, training, rental and repair services to the professional filmmaking community with offices in NY, CHI and LA. Our headquarters in NYC is currently seeking a Check-in Agent to join our busy Rental team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, hard working individual to participate in our exciting and fast paced company.

This position is a key role that would encompass the following responsibilities:

• Scanning in rental returns along with other various administrative duties
• Identifying missing or damaged items and contacting clients or management to resolve discrepancies
• Assisting in expediting check-in and prep of returned gear for same day turnaround
• Providing support for inventory and maintenance teams
• Assisting clients and co-workers with loading equipment in and out of the facility

Requirements for the successful applicant:

• Undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience
• Impeccable attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
• Ability to take initiative and to make decisions
• Administrative experience with regard to efficiency and customer service
• Strong, articulate communication skills
• Ability to regularly lift and control cases weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Multi-tasking is a must: phone calls, email, fax, etc. in a fast paced department
• Must possess a friendly, energetic and supportive demeanor in order to establish an upbeat and professional relationship with customers and team members
• Prior industry production or rental house experience is highly desired
• Flexibility with hours is a big plus
• Mac OS and Filemaker Pro experience is also plus

This is a full-time, on-site, salaried, non-exempt position.
