Job Summary Do you enjoy working on Excel with large volume data and numbers, multi tasking, auditing benefit details, and building relationships with internal and external customers? This job is for you! The Benefits Analyst will have a working knowledge of Union Collective Bargaining Agreements and will assist in reviewing employee records on a monthly basis to confirm eligibility before the benefit payment is made. The Benefit Analyst will research and reconcile eligibility discrepancies, which includes reviewing payroll records and working closely with numerous Trusts and Locals across the country, Able’s regional field offices and Leave of Absence team.   Additional responsibilities include monthly Health & Welfare employee deduction review and adjustments, simple account reconciliations, assistance with larger projects as they arise (such as audits and complex account reconciliations), ACA offer mailings and necessary administrative duties. The Benefits Analyst will report to and assist the Union Benefits Manager.   Approximately 75% of Able Services’ employee population is covered by union contracts and therefore are contractually bound to meet certain requirements before qualifying for Health and Welfare Benefits.
