ACCO Brands is seeking a Distribution Center Associate 3 in our Booneville, MS facility responsible for releasing and processing service part orders, communication related to those orders and other job-related duties of an Associate, DC 1 or DC 2. This position requires data entry into company database daily. The ideal individual will be a self-starter, problem-solver, and able to communicate effectively.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Load and unload trailers with appropriate equipment.
• Keep track of all daily transactions and turn in to management.
• Operate personal computer equipment and RF (radio frequency) handheld scanners.
• Ensure accuracy by cross referencing shipping packing list with system generated picklist reducing possible shipping error opportunities.
• Use WMS system to release and ship orders ensuring correct paperwork is generated and accompanies the shipments.
• Email correspondence to and from ACCO associates related to customer needs, technician needs, etc.
• Troubleshoot order or process concerns.
• Print and pull parts shipments, over pack, and prepare per customer requirements.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as Company rules and policies.
• Maintain satisfactory performance levels.
• Assist in special projects as required and participate in process improvement teams.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to perform all physical demands of the position including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs., frequently.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, written correspondence, memos, and ability to write simple correspondence.
• Effective oral and written communication; good listening skills required.
• Must be able to perform basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must attain certification to operate the mechanical power lift devices such as forklift and/or pallet truck.
• Must be able to operate personal computer equipment and RF (radio frequency) hand-held scanner.
• Must possess ability to troubleshoot issues or concerns with little direction.
• Prefer experiencing using SAP.
• Prefer experience in operating narrow isle reach trucks preferred.

Working Conditions

• Time is spent on the factory floor in a factory environment.  Personal safety equipment could include safety glasses, hearing protection, and possibly safety shoes.  Building is temperature controlled but would be exposed to heat, cold, humidity, machine noises, and is in the proximity of moving machine parts.
